Located in the south coast of the region of Aysén, to the north is “Puerto Bonito” (45º 56’ 48” S 73º 34’ 05” W), a calm natural harbor, extending towards the south (up to 46º 00’ 31” S 73º 36’ 53” W), with more than 5 miles of coast.The land has two different properties:Bahía Eugenia with an extension of 637 Has at the north and Punta de Pescadores with 592 Has at the south.The limits are: to the north another particular property (500Has), to the East and the South properties of the Chilean State and to the west the Estero Elefantes.Estero Elefantes is the navigable channel to the “Laguna de San Rafael”, with the “Ventisquero San Rafael”, one of the most touristic Chilean spots, and without a doubt the most important of the region, located in the North Ice Fields. Every cruiser going to the Laguna de San Rafael, has to navigate this route.The Chilean South coast is very steep. The edges of sea are not accessible directly from the water. This land is an exception, boasting the largest beach of the zone. That Beach is not for swimming, but allows the access and the practice of aquatic sports including fishing.In front of Punta de Pescadores we can see Nalkayec Island and the Sisquelan Peninsula which is being developed an important touristic project.Punta de Pescadores is the only place in the South coast of Aysen where an aeronautic runway can be constructed. Puerto Bonito is one of the calmer harbors in the zone and is possible to land on water hydroplanes. There are characteristics, given to these special characteristics that add special value to any tourist project.
From Balmaceda International Airport the passage to Punta de Pescadores about 45 minutes in a small plane, and 30 minutes from Puerto Aysén. A boat trip from Port of Chacabuco to the zone, assuming a speed of 20 knots, would be about 4 hours. The public works for a road that would communicate Puerto Aysen and Puerto Bonito, with of approximately 45 miles, have already begun. It is expected to be finished in 5 years.The properties are practically wild. Native forests never walked on by humans still exist. Punta de Pescadores is crossed by a river, Pescadores River, that is navigable and gives to the land an additional beauty, plus allowing other forms of aquatic activities.It is known that there are thermal waters in this property. There are several lagoons that maintain water all the year. Dangerous animals do not exist in the zone.It is the only private property (both jointly) of that extension in the zone. Its situation, contiguous to government lands gives a new added value. The government lands protect the property, allowing that actually are much more ample of which in fact they are.
